On September 9, 2020, Phu Hai Minh Investment and Trading Co., Ltd. successfully exported a shipment of Nata de coco to Nagoya, Japan.
Nata de coco is a summer cooling dish that is very popular with many people. It was first launched in the Philippines. The dish is made from fermented coconut water by the action of the bacteria Acetobacter xylinum to create transparent jelly with the natural sweetness of coconut. To enhance the sweetness of this dish, many people often add more sugar.
Nata de coco is processed by a fermentation process that meets the food hygiene and safety standards of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. It does not contain any bleaching or toughening additives.
The nata de coco is used as a summer dessert, or mixed with cocktails, other drinks and tea, is high in fiber, low in fat and cholesterol. Because nata de coco is made of coconut water with added sugar, it contains a lot of energy as a favorite snack.
